Harry Potter is a popular fictional young wizard, and the main character in a series of fantasy novels by author, J.K. Rowling, and the movies based on them.

His full names are Harry James Potter and he lives as an orphan with his only remaining family, the Dursleys, in Surrey, England. On his eleventh birthday he learns he is in fact a famous wizard. Harry subsequently attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to hone his craft and experiences several adventures as set out in the books that cover seven years in his life.
